Led by the high-energy vocals, it’s guaranteed to put you in a good mood and put a smile on your face. A great song for both the dance floor and those late nights driving in your car alike.
Brutally honest lyrics fit the mood and show off Charlotte Hall’s personality. Never mincing words or beating around the bush, the pointed lyricism was catchy and exciting. Occasionally opting to layer vocals or break into conversation the after-effects were fun and added to the already captivating vibe. The deep, walking bass line was enjoyable and gave all the structure Charlotte Hall needed to soar.
Between the playful instrumental and cheerful lyrics, this delight of a song will lift even the darkest of spirits. Whenever the chorus came around everything seemed to lock together perfectly. I loved how the energy never let up either. Even during the breakdown, there was still excitement pushing everything along. Due in part to the delightful vocals there was never a lull or hiccup in the groove.
Busy drums help keep this energy sky high without needing to get too complicated. They’re steady and give the bass the freedom to direct the vibe through the song’s high and lows. Occasional synthesizers deepen this vibe while taking a back seat, only contributing when the texture calls for it. An awesomely fun and uplifting song.
