“A Whole New Life” by Blueprint Tokyo

Blueprint Tokyo is an indie rock duo from Oklahoma City, OK and Lethbridge, Alberta. Andy and Kevin were playing across the states together for more than a decade when something happened that would change both of their lives. The duo were on the verge of becoming full-time musicians when Kevin was diagnosed with a degenerative bone disease forcing the group to disband.

Unfortunately Kevin was without insurance but his diagnosis and treatment eventually came through charities, personal
debt, and benefits. Kevin is now healthy and the duo has restarted their musical journey. With new songs in hand and emerging from the pandemic, their new band Blueprint Tokyo is starting fresh.

“Panic Carefully” was the first single to be released from the duo and the first sneak peak at the brand new Blueprint Tokyo. Kevin and Andy got an enormous response with over 100,000 listens in just 6 months, it is obvious that they have something special. “Panic Carefully” introduces a soft/comforting side of Blueprint Tokyo, and with the pandemic still at the forefront of everyone’s minds, it’s no wonder this song got such a positive response.

The title track of the EP “A Whole New Life” brings in the 80s vibe to the EP. This particular track is easy going yet nostalgic and when you hear it a smile will instantly come plastered across your face. “A Whole New Life” transitioning into “Take Me Anyplace” is one you don’t want to miss, this upbeat, slightly in your face tune is surely to get you out of your seat and onto the dance floor.

The duo ends the EP with “Infused”, this song is very relaxing in it own way, it makes you want to look up at the sky, close your eyes and just feel the wind blowing past you. The entire EP makes you feel very nostalgic and makes your inner child want to come out to play. After hearing their EP you almost feel as if you are complete. “A Whole New World” is music that everyone should hear.
