Late January 2022, international pop musician Zachary Ray released his energetic and addicting single “When You Know,” an elctro-pop song that was inspired by the scripture 1 Peter 3:15, which says, “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect” (NIV).
“Everybody knows which way I should go, everybody knows // everybody sees who I need to be, I see differently,” Ray begins the track. You definitely get caught up in the vibrant instrumentals and can’t stop dancing to it. I love how Ray doesn’t hold back in showing his incredible vocal talents.
Not only is “When You Know” an inspirational song but it’s inspiring how Ray wasn’t afraid to show his beliefs through his music. Not only does this say he’s not afraid to be open to his audience, but he’s not afraid to be his true self — he’s the epitome of a great musician.
Since 2019, Ray has been putting his music out there for all to enjoy and now has a new single out called “Snapshot,” so make sure you look into that.
