“Double Cup” by Papi Sensei

In his second single this year Papi Sensei is delivering a song that’s definitely meant for the stage with “Double Cup.”

Having been to countless concerts, I often find myself imagining how a crowd would react to everything that comes across my table. “Double Cup” is one of those songs you place smack dab in the center of a setlist because it’s not only a single but also one that ends just as great as it starts, allowing for the energy the crowd feels once it wraps up to flow right into the next one, and frankly the rest of the show. With a beat that is reminiscent of the late ‘90s, Papi Sensei dishes a well-balanced audible meal going back and forth between this more laid-back vibe to shooting rapid fire as he name drops everyone from Hannibal Lector to Solange Knowles. How those two come together in one song, you’ll just have to listen to “Double Cup” and find out.

“Double Cup” is proving to be one of Papi Sensei’s biggest releases to date with streaming numbers climbing daily, and an appearance on Local Pulse: Sacramento’s chart at #13 with it being placed on additional playlists. Papi Sensei has been making noise since releasing his debut, “Hike It” in 2019. Since then he’s dropped numerous singles including “Parking Lot (Ay Bitch)” and “All I See Is Pain” as well as two records. To hear all of those and then some, make sure to check out Papi Sensei on all major music and streaming platforms today.
